Given your science background and goal of investment banking or equity research, I’d pick Notre Dame MSF. Its 100% employment rate shows strong placement, and the curriculum is tailored for finance roles. Duke’s prestige is great, but the 80% employment rate is a risk with your limited experience. Georgetown’s online format might not give you the networking edge needed for IB. Notre Dame offers the best shot at breaking into your target roles.

I’d choose the Fuqua MMS here. It’s a more well-known degree compared to Georgetown’s MSF. Also, the MSF curriculum doesn’t really justify a two-year duration.

I have some friends who completed the MMS and are doing quite well in the US.

I believe neither of them is a STEM-designated degree?

Thank you!
These are 1 year programs, the Georgetown program can be completed in 2 years.
The schools didn’t provide the specific occupational results of the programs. But searching on LinkedIn and online, I was able to find that both Duke and Notre Dame are considered target schools for both MBA and undergrad (not much data for MSF and MMS).
Both the MMS and MSF did have students placed in investment banking, though.

The recruitment for IB is usually in person, but it can depend.

Yes, you are correct about the recruitment into nearby larger cities. But Duke does have a lot of graduates in New York banking as well.

I do not believe they are STEM-designated. Would you choose Fuqua over the Mendoza (Notre Dame) MSF?
