Thank you bb for replying.

When I say 'govt,' I mean the Government of Canada, and I am a Canadian citizen. I am waiting to hear back from Rotman if they can match the scholarship reward as well.

In your personal opinion, which is better? placement vise mostly?

Thank you
bb
Hi! Congrats on the admits. Quite a late post

My understanding is that on campus recruiting is pretty slim with just a handful of companies coming.
If you are an international candidate without brand names and just the government experience (that will not be regarded high in the US/Canada), you would benefit from doing an internship in your field, so would recommend Rotman in that case esp since you are changing industries.

p.s. specialization does not matter, what matters is what you are focusing on for recruiting - make sure you make the choice ASAP.

That helps a lot that you are a CA citizen!

Makes sense why you are making the choice this late in the year.
Really only the current students can give a sense of what the recruiting scene is (Sorry, I have not gone to either program). However, what I hear all the time from the Canadian graduates is that most employers in Canada are looking for prior work experience and strongly weigh prior work experience in the same field rather than an MBA.

Thank you, bb, for your honest suggestion. Do you know where I can find a chat or discussion group for each school? In GMAT club. Thank you
