Hey
sp4949 Congratulations!
You are correct that the $40K is not material in the long run. I see people adjusting their spend up or down depending on the income and super easy to blow an extra $20K on an extra nice apartment in a year and a trip or five ... and you back to parity between sticker and $40K scholarship. When it comes to comparison of $250K at Kellogg vs. $200K at Fuqua, it is not a big difference, esp if you take into account the opportunity cost of additional dollars. One positive which I would say for Kellogg is they offer much better interest rates (they have a relationship with a credit union, which can save you easily $3-5K/year and perhaps $10K in 2 years) and you won't get issues with qualifying and paying for school.
Congratulations on the admits! This is an awesome result!
Kellogg wont' likely budge to scholarship negotiation as they only budge to HSW.... I would maybe look at Tuck a second time - super strong for Consulting recruiting. Terrible for tech

At the same time, I think you may regret not taking the M7 brand and selling it for just $40K. So either Fuqua should add more or Kellogg is a good choice, though for consulting I have to admit, rank does not play as much role but Kellogg consulting club is strong and connections are strong.... bragging rights are also worth something
