I have compiled and categorized the Yale Business School's MBA admission Video essay questions [Collected from admission discussion of class 2028]. Read the master thread here.
I. Introspective & Motivational Questions:
1. Why are you pursuing an MBA, and why now?
2. What experience(s) motivated you to pursue an MBA?
3. Why an MBA over other advanced degrees?
4. What specific challenge or problem do you hope to tackle in your post-MBA career?
5. What are 2-3 things you specifically hope to learn during the MBA program?
6. What skills do you hope to develop during your MBA and why?
7. What are you aiming to achieve from this MBA experience?
8. How is the investment of energy and time into an MBA worth it to you?
9. What part of the MBA experience do you think will be most difficult or challenging for you, and why?
