GMAT FE score: 555 (first attempt) I was planning for R2 but given my bad performance, I am planning to re-appear for R3. How much score should I aim for at least? Thanks in advanceHi
Aviralmanit111 , you have a good academic background and relevant work experience as a Business Analyst, which is a good foundation. Your leadership experience in college and at the workplace, as well as internships at IIM Bangalore and other sectors, are valuable and demonstrate well-roundedness.
However, your GMAT FE score of 555 is below the typical range for top MBA programs like IIMs and ISB, where a score of 645+ would significantly strengthen your profile. If you're aiming for R3, I recommend retaking the GMAT and targeting at least a 615-655 to be competitive. While you can highlight your strong work experience, leadership roles, and awards, a higher GMAT score will improve your chances of admission to top programs. Additionally, be clear about your post-MBA goals to align your profile with your career aspirations.
