Hi,
Could anyone please evaluate my profile?
Academics:
- 10th Grade: 91%
- 12th Grade: 88%
- BBA in Finance (from a top-2 ranked college in India): 9.13 GPA
- Received both merit and extracurricular scholarships
Leadership & Activities:
- Event Head for Corporate Strategy (selected as 1 of only 3 from my batch)
- Member of CUSBMA
- Part of the Sponsorship Committee for 2 years
- Participated in multiple national case study competitions and management fests
- Volunteered 45 hours at an NGO
Work Experience:
- Currently working as an Investment Research (FinRes) Associate at DE Shaw since June 2025
- Will have about 1 year of work experience by the time of program commencement
Questions:
1. Are there specific areas I should target to further strengthen my profile (application)?
2. What is the minimum GMAT score I would need to expect an interview call?
3. What GMAT score should I aim for if I want to be competitive for scholarships?

To strengthen your profile, make sure you demonstrate real impact in your role at DE Shaw and maintain some continuity in volunteering or leadership activities. For the GMAT Focus Edition, you should aim for at least 645+ to be in a comfortable zone for an interview. If you want to be competitive for scholarships, target 695+.
