How much score required for ISB YLP Round 2 and BITSOM

Question

Could anyone please guide me how much score required for ISB YLP Round 2 applications and BITSOM, is it possible to get in ? currently getting 500 in GMAT mocks, My profile- 10th-85%, 12th-85%, 2 years drop after 12th class for JEE preparation and health reason, CSE GEM candidate- 8.5 CGPA, Tier 3 college under a good state university, work experience- 3 months internship during graduation, 1 year Apprenticeship after that and 1 year full time work ex, worked as Associate engineer, UK based MNC, currently not working since last 4 months. Captain of college football team, inter college competition and main college fest coordinator, 2 good projects during my graduation, couple of online IIT courses certification.

Hi!! ISB does  not  officially publish a hard cutoff for GMAT/GRE/CAT. They look at your entire profile- academics, leadership, essays, recommendations. Score ranges that tend to get interview invites:

GMAT: generally ~700+ is competitive, though profiles with 650–690 have  also  been shortlisted.  
 GRE: ~320+ competitive.  
 CAT: many successful applicants have been 98–99+ percentile, though there’s flexibility with a strong profile.

BITSOM also doesn’t use a strict cutoff, but their admitted class profile gives a good sense of what’s typical.

Typical ranges for admitted candidates:

GMAT: 600–770 range, with median near 690.  
 GRE: ~308–337 range, median ~319–320.  
 CAT: widely varied ; median around 94 percentile, but admitted profiles have ranged from ~80 to ~99+ percentile.

So, is it possible to get in?

Short answer: Yes; both ISB YLP and BITSOM admit applicants with a range of scores. Neither program makes decisions based on a single number. What really matters is how you frame your story alongside your test score.

For ISB YLP, aim for a GMAT ~700+/GRE ~320+ or CAT 98+ percentile to be in the strong interview mix but slightly lower scores can work with exceptional essays/achievements.  
 For BITSOM, a GMAT near 690 or a high percentile in CAT is typical, but there’s real flexibility if your profile adds strength in other areas.

there is no such thing as a safe score.. always target at least 30-40 points + of avg intake score... target 675 for interview call

Both schools will evaluate your profile in a holistic manner.

There is no score that the school states as a "required score" or a "minimum score" or a "safe score"; the aim should be to score as high as you can but a 675+ on the GMAT will give you a good chance.
