For over two years, Shivangi had been in touch with me intermittently while working through a second ISB rejection. Even with strong social impact credentials and a tier 1 academic background, she was unable to figure out what wasn’t working. As I spent more time understanding her experiences, a lot of nuance began to emerge, including aspects that had not been fully reflected in her earlier applications. During our collaboration, our focus was largely on bringing clarity to what she had already done and how it connected to her goals.

The eventual outcome was encouraging, with a full ride from ISB on her third attempt (her first with our mentoring), as well as significant financial aid from Oxford.
