ISB PGP YL Profile Review – need honest take
Academics: 85/92/6.6 (grad), BITS Pilani
Experience:
6 months AI Engineer intern at early-stage startup + a few smaller internships + Will complete ~1 year as Analyst at Deloitte USI by June 2027
Extracurriculars:
AI/ML certifications, state-level sports participation + black belt in martial arts, college consulting club member.
Career goal: move into product / consulting
Concerns:
CGPA is on the lower side, not sure if overall profile is strong enough for ISB YL. what can I realistically improve in the next 6–12 months to strengthen my chances?
How much does GPA affect in getting top consulting firms (MBBK ) , can I get it with good profile built or will I be directly removed from shortlists 8/8/8 or something?

Hi,
Your GPA is certainly a concern, but at this stage there is little value in over-focusing on something that cannot be changed. The best way to compensate for it would be through a strong GMAT Focus score — ideally 685+.
On the positive side, you already have strong brand names on your profile, which definitely helps.
Beyond that, a lot will depend on how effectively you present your Deloitte experience, the quality of your impact stories, and your overall application positioning and strategy.
