The awards anxiety in your last line is understandable, but the more pressing question is how adcoms will read an AI-PM profile with a 6.64 CGPA from a Tier 1 engineering college, and what you can do between now and September 2027 to sharpen that story.

• A GRE 330 converts to roughly Classic 720 to 730, which clears the floor at most M7 programs, so the score is not the conversation; the CGPA is, especially for the IIT-heavy applicant pool where adcoms know exactly what that number means on a relative scale.

• The startup context (top-5 valuation, two promotions, Fortune 50 client work) is your strongest asset, but only if your essays make the business impact legible in numbers: ARR influenced, adoption rates, POC conversion to contracts, anything that turns "led product tracks" into a story with stakes.

• On the awards and activities worry: adcoms are not counting entries, they are reading for evidence of character and commitment outside work; your ongoing research association with a Tier 1 B-school and ten-plus marathons already tell a coherent story if you frame them as sustained effort rather than a checklist.

• The real gap to close before 2027 is leadership scope: at three years you are strong on execution, but think about whether you can move into a role or initiative that puts people or a business unit visibly under your direction.

You have strong raw material and meaningful time; the work now is to build the narrative architecture, not to add more items to a list.

Hope this helps. Feel free to come back with more queries as needed. Contact us directly - submit a query here.

Planning to apply in sept 2027- R1.
This is the profile I have right now, please suggest folks, experts

Profile 9/9/6

B.Tech from Tier 1 Engineering college-6.64 CGPA

3 years of work-ex-AI Product Management,B2B SaaS

High paced- startup, Top 5 valuation: in AI startups in India.

2 promotions- Worked with a fortune 50 client, Led POCs, multiple product tracks both foreign and Indian companies.

Internships- 2 in core engineering from top MNCs (8 months)

1 research intern from Tier 1 B-school (Ongoing association- 1 year)

Graded certifications from IIT roorkee and Kanpur in management courses, 10+ marathons (10K and 21K)

I am a little worried about the awards and activities section, don't really have 5+5 things to write.
