I am from India. Want to apply for PhD in Marketing (Consumer Behaviour).
My profile:
B.Tech.(IT) 4 years course, WB Univ of Tech - GPA 8.73/10, 1st position in dept
PGDM(Marketing) 2 years equivalent to MBA (AMBA accredited), SPJIMR, Mumbai - GPA should be around 2.9/4
June 2010 - Present: Retail Banking strategy at one of the biggest banks in India.
GMAT taken yesterday: 700(46,40)
I am not looking at US in a big way. Want to look at Europe or Singapore. Also, funding is a criterion as I have to take care of my family too (not in a big way though).
Have filtered the following programs
Nanyang & NUS Singapore
ESSEC France
Indian School of Business (in association with INSEAD)
Apart from this, where else should I apply? Is my profile and/or score good enough for a top program like INSEAD or HEC? Also want some views on Bocconi and Stockholm School of Economics.
