Hi everyone,
This is tin tin writing, in
. This forum has become one of my favorite and most inspiring places to visit ever since day one of preparation for the test in Nov. Have not come across specific threads on this topic, I am trying to raise my hands to see if there is any answer to the question.
Briefly: My mind has been set to go for a PhD three years ago while it is a shame that so far i have no project/paper to account for, in terms of research experience. Have been working for the past six years in industory after getting a master degree.
Wondering if there is anything I should/can put in SOP/PS to convince the admission committe that I am capable of (independent) research? If any, is there a way to convince people that I can, even there is hardly any established "emprical" evidence, accomplish the goals of a doctorate program?
I appreciate any of your insight and help.

Please keep us posted with your progress. I'll be taking Gmat in two weeks before a full speed catch-up with the app package. Hopefully it won't be too late. Will come in and post my bits here
