Hello everyone,
From what I have seen looking around, all of you are bright, which makes me feel stupid. But I do have a simple, not so simple, question. What should one do to prep for an opportunity to apply for Ph.D. in finance? I am currently enrolled in an MBA program focusing on Finance (I did not have to take the GMAT because I rolled into the program through the school's program). I know I will have to take the GMAT and I am actually studying for it now. I want to also become a research assistant, but I am an online student. Is this something I can do at a University near me? Or is it possible to do it online? Unfortunately, my school does not have that program, well not for MBAs anyway. I am basically trying to organize myself and I really do not know where to start, so if anyone has any advice I would GREATLY appreciate it. Also, I am not opposed to doing another master's program if that will set me up for success. The program I am part of is one-year full-time.
Thanks again, guys.
