Hey! If you want I can share my resume and my essay as well.
GMAT is scheduled on 25th February.

It would be great if you can tell me how much should I score in Gmat and if not high score in GMAT then are there any chances of getting into HEC/ ESSEC/ INSEAD/ EDHEC MiM.?

Hello toshak,

At this point, your focus should entirely be on scoring well on the GMAT; a score in excess of 675 should give you a good chance with ESSEC and EDHEC; applying to later rounds at INSEAD and HEC Paris could be a bit tricky.

All the best!

Hey, I've got 9.12cgpa in my bachelor's(BBA-busines analytics) India. I am 22 years old applying for MIM 4th round. Due to some reasons in my family, I had to postponed my GMAT attempt.

I've got 2 LORs (1 from my HOD, and other from one of the chairman of the company I worked in as an intern)

I was the Co-founder of a startup which was about Networking and entertainment based.( also worked as MD If we talk about roles).

I also worked as an intern in a growing FMCG company in inventory management and social media marketing team.

Cohesive and convenicing Essays too I have. And organized several fests in my college at the city level as Marketing Head in some, and organizing committee member in others and also I was a state cricket player, got several awards and medals in both cricket and athletics.

And also worked in a NGO and also played an integral role in initiating a program under the NGO for disadvantaged children under 12.

What are my chances please anyone!!!
I'm scared. I don't want a gap year.
If not HEC then what about ESSEC/INSEAD/EDHEC MiM program 2025.
Please anyone
Hi toshak ! Your profile has several strong elements, including a 9.12 CGPA, entrepreneurial experience as a Co-founder & MD of a startup, internships in FMCG (inventory & social media marketing), and leadership roles in college fests, state-level cricket, and athletics. Additionally, your NGO work and strong LORs from an HOD and a company chairman add credibility. However, applying to HEC Paris MiM in Round 4 would be competitive, so your profile should be in the best shape to secure a spot. Overall, your profile looks good. If HEC is your dream school, the best strategy would be to take the GMAT (aiming for 700+, higher the better) and apply in this round only when you feel confident about your overall application otherwise aim for earlier round next year. ESSEC MiM remains a good option, as it values entrepreneurial leadership, while INSEAD and EDHEC MiM could also be good alternatives. If avoiding a gap year is a priority, you can consider these schools while simultaneously preparing for a stronger Round 1 application next year at HEC or INSEAD. Please feel free to book a profile evaluation call, if you need help refining your strategy. We would like to know more about your profile like challenges faced, impact created, extracurriculars and more, discussing these details, will help us identify if you can pull out good stories from your experience and gauge your chances for the best-fit schools.

Cheers!

toshak I am always pushing candidates from competitive pools to cross the 675 threshold on the focus edition but if there are other high points in your profile happy to discuss in detail.

What is your current GMAT mock score?

It is important to make each element of your application strong. The median GMAT for the last intake was approx. 700+, so it would be great if you can get 10, 20+ points.
