- The Format-Flexible Personal Statement: Deciding how to approach IE’s wide-open personal prompt ("What is the most significant aspect you would like us to know about you that is not reflected in your resume?"). Applicants are fiercely debating whether to stick to a traditional 550–650 word essay, or build a 10-slide PowerPoint, or film a 3-minute video pitch.
- The Test Strategy (ieGAT vs. GMAT Focus/GRE): Navigating IE's proprietary IE Global Admissions Test (ieGAT). Since the ieGAT requires no advance preparation and focuses entirely on real-time logic, agility, and psychometric processing, many are weighing it against standard GMAT/GRE tracks.
- The Kira Online Assessment: Exchanging notes on the mandatory live portal assessment that unlocks immediately after submission, which tests your composure across two live video responses and one timed written prompt.
