Hi all,
I am an international student. I am applying to top B-schools in Canada for my second MBA. Currently working at Salesforce as a Business Development Executive and have 5 years of work experience in similar domain and regularly hitting 326-328 GRE (equivalent to 690-710 GMAT) and have 3.6 GPA in my undergrad and already have one MBA from my home country (India).
I really want to apply for Ivey and Smith Business School given the schools' reputation in Canada, especially Ivey but I am afraid of one thing and that is since it's a one year MBA program, [b]it would only give me 1 year of PGWP compared to 3 years offered by Schulich, Rotman, McGill and UBC and I wonder if it will be enough for me to secure PR/Work Visa when the 1 year PGWP expires. I really wish to continue to stay in Canada after my studies are completed and do not want to return back home.
Would like your guidance and thoughts on this. What would you recommend and if you have experience studying at Ivey, how did you overcome this obstacle?
