Hi guys! I've recently applied for the PGDM at Great Lakes Chennai with my XAT score of 88.88%. I also have a GMAT Focus score of 595 (Q80, V83, D75) that I took recently. I was wondering if adding my GMAT score is going to impact my overall application merit in a positive way or negative way. Any opinions? Thanks in advance!
Your XAT score of 88.88%ile is competitive for Great Lakes Chennai, and adding your GMAT Focus score of 595 (68.5%ile) could have a mixed impact. While GMAT Focus is still new, schools generally prefer the higher of the two scores. Since your XAT percentile is stronger, submitting only XAT might be the better choice unless the school explicitly states that GMAT Focus is weighed equally.
