If a train takes 20 minutes to travel from station A to station B, how long does it take for the train to return from station B to station A along the same route?
(1) The average (arithmetic mean) speed of the train from station A to station B is half of its average speed from station B to station A.

Official Solution:
If a train takes 20 minutes to travel from station A to station B, how long does it take for the train to return from station B to station A along the same route?
(1) The average (arithmetic mean) speed of the train from station A to station B is half of its average speed from station B to station A.
Given that the average speed from B to A is twice that from A to B, the train takes half the time to travel from B to A. Therefore, it takes 10 minutes. Sufficient.
(2) The distance between the two stations is 10 miles.
This information is insufficient as we don't know the speed of the train from B to A.
Answer: A
