Hi! I'm in the waitpool for Stanford Business School as a deferred admit (applied without scores) and need to fill out their update survey by end of day. I took the GRE last week and got 160 Quant and 164 Verbal. Their medians are 165 for both Quant and Verbal. I know I could do a bit better on the test, at least in quant (I was averaging 162 on practice).
They are asking for an update today and are releasing some decisions late June (the deadline to take exams is still August 1).
If I retake in July and don't submit my prior score, do I risk losing the spot? They said on the phone that some waitpool applicants will be denied without scores late June. If I submit the score I have will they reject me before I can retake it? I'm torn between these three options and would love advice:
Submit this score and don’t retake
Submit this score and also let them know that I’ll be retaking in July
Don’t submit these scores and just tell them I’m taking it in July

Hi - Submit your score. It's a good score. It shows effort. You may do better in July. You may do worse. Right now you have a known score...why would you not submit it? Good luck converting!
