Hi, I saw some great replies on some profile evaluation here. Can you give your valuable feedback on my profile as well?
Profile : GMAT 730, Indian 28M, Undergrad CGPA: 6.8
Engineering Background Tier 1 Engg college,
Experience : 5 years of Exp across 3 Industries, 6 years in Aug 2024. All startups no MNC.
1 yr in a Pharma consulting firm working for US pharma Clients as a Business Analyst.
2 yr in a Logistics Unicorn in india as a Senior Analyst (1 promotion Analyst ---> Senior Analyst).
2 yr in a Social Media startup (1 Promotion APM ---> PM).
Now working in UK as a Product Lead in a Fintech Unicorn
Few ECs : Govt. of India, College football player, and volunteering in few NGOs like Teach for India, MAD
I want to do MBA in US in the top 25 colleges.
Goals : Primary Goal - Consulting (Strategy role in MBB or some boutique consulting firms). I Want my MBA to Break into Strategy roles in consulting companies in US.
I think i have a few transferable skills from my past Roles that can contribute towards my goal.
Secondary Goal - PM at Amazon/apple.
- I feel Consulting is too generic and would push my application more towards that typical Engineer male profile than away from it. Would it be easier to get
admitted, if i stick with my Secondary goal (Product Management in big tech company like Amazon) because of my exp in the same field.
Or is Strategy consulting just fine?
- Can i Aim for US top 25 colleges? Is yes Which US colleges should i target?
- Do you have any advice regarding how can tailor my application to be 'unique' in this pool for these colleges.
- Also Would having a GRE/EA score help? Do i have a better chance at being accepted if i apply with 320-330 GRE score rather than a 730 GMAT?
Let me know if you need any other info. I would really appreciate your few cents. TIA
