I will be heading to Tuck this fall, and plan to work in management consulting upon graduation. I have a slight dilemma here I was hoping people could help me out with:
I started at my current job in July 2007, and I plan to quit in April and take a few months to travel. But that would mean my overall full-time workex would be < 3 years. Is that a disadvantage when it comes to management consulting recruiting? I will be primarily targeting McK/Bain/BCG. Would it greatly help my candidacy if I (grudgingly) stuck around in my job til July?
