It's fine. Just stick to GMAT material. I know India has a different CAT exam and I believe its math is somewhat more difficult :? Even the string of quadratic questions+inequality that you previously posted were not GMAT type :)

Very true. Maybe people wanna try their hand at these "odd" questions (if within the subjects tested, of course), which may pop up on GMAT if you are in the 95-100 percentile. I agree with you, you won't see these questions if you are below the 700 band.

Maybe I misunderstood this one but I have the feeling you can manage it without derivative forms. The pb is symmetrical and there are only two types of products...

IMO max profit is reached in producing 3As and 3Bs, which represents 10.5 USD.
