cool question. The answer is 8. x^32 is the sqaure root of x^64, so it's the square root of 64. That said, I think it would only be positive 8. Am I wrong about that?

X^64 = 64
X^64 = 2^6
X = 2^(6/64) = 2^(3/32)

X^32 = 2^(32*3/32) = 2^3 = 8.

The value of X^32 could only be positive.

They didn't ask what X is. 
X could be negative, but they ask about X to the power of 32, which can only be positive.

=> X^32 = 64^(1/64*32) = 64^(1/2) = 8. how -8?
