To which angel does the Expression Angel BDO refer? 22 May 2012, 12:46

Hi,

I don't understand to which angel the expression angel BDO in a triangle refers? Is it the angelt at B, D or O? It cannot be to the triangle itself because then it would always be 180 degree or not?

Generally angle BDO would refer to the angle at vertex D.

Generally angle BDO would refer to the angle at vertex D.

And when he says generally, he means always. An angle will always have the vertex at the middle letter when written out.

Hi,

In general the GMAT question will contain the diagram, and the angle in that case would be formed by the line segments BD & DO.
