How do people feel the math questions in PowerPrep and our challenge? I did both today. Not sure if I was gettting more used to the level of our challenge, or if the level of the questions posted in this forum is generally higher, I felt that that PowerPrep math was very easy. For a couple of times I actually thought that maybe I was doing badly so I was getter lower grade questions. I did make my regular two silly errors (;)) like 62*2=114, etc. but I finished the test 18 minutes sooner (that was giving each question enough attention it deserves too).
So anyway, anybody has any experiences regarding how the difficulty level of the real GMAT test is compared to the PowerPrep and our challenges?

my experiance says that Gmat Club challange questions are very hard as compared to powerprep questions. powerprep questions are not time consuming and easy to understand but the case is diffrent with challange questions. these questions are really time consuming and difficult.
i believe, and expect too, real gmat questions are not that much difficult...
hong, in the meantime, do let us know your test day in advance..........
Did you try Kaplan Quan, HongHu?
How did you feel on that one?
Usually, asian people like us feel very good on Quan in general. Probability & Statistic are the only parts that I didn't get to learn in school until I start to study for the GMAT.
No I didn't try Kaplan. I started preparing for GMAT really only after the new year so I don't have much time before 2/15. I haven't even done OG yet. I'm starting to do it today and this is going to be my only material for the week before the big day.
mdf2, PowerPrep is the CAT GMAT preparing test that GMAC made. Supposedly it is similar to the real thing since it is made by the same people who make GMAT test. After you register at mba.com you can download a free copy.
Honghu it makes sense you know, that the questions on this forum are harder. Most of the questions posted, a person who is relatively smarter than average is posting because:
1) They couldn't figure it out
2) They thought it was hard and they wanted to share
I agree the questions on PP1 are easier than average, but that "easiness" could fool you so be careful.
Yes a part of me hopes that as well. On "easy" questions I tend to make significantly more careless mistakes. When a question is hard my focus is more intense and as a result I make fewer stupid mistakes. Also when a question is easy, I tend to think that it can't be easy, and then I spend more time trying to figure out whether this is an easy question or whether I've missed something and this really is a hard question. Just seems to me that the GMAT is more of a psychology test than anything else!
