Hi..I am rohit..I have already appeared for GMAT twice with bad scores( 630 & 570) . I am thinking of taking GMAT again this September.
I used to think that I am really good at Quant but all that myth is broken when I saw my scores in Quant 47 & 48 respectively.
I have to take my Quant score to 50 as English will always remain a weak area for me. Please tell me the source or books which will take me from a score of 48 to 50 in Quant. I want to practice those tricks and questions which can help me in achieving Quant score of 50.
Please advise me. I need to find good source for practicing Quant.
Regards
Rohit
Hi Rohit,
Difference between 47/48 amd 50/51 is based on a lot of things. But what i consider as the msot important difference is reading the questions carefully or re-reading. Whenever you are done with a question before 2mins then makes sure that you read the question once again before marking to make sure that what you did is right.
You can ckeck out the post in my signature on how to improve quant score to get a better idea of what i am saying.
Regarding source of problems:
i think gmatclub has a lot of questions from various scources which are more than enough to get a good score. On top of it you can try grockit for more questions (i personally did gmatclub and grockit)
Regarding Improvement:
1. focus on your weakness (if you have any)
2. if not then focus on tough problems. you cna find tagwise sorted questions link in my signature(gmat club topic tags)
Hope it helps!
