Can you give me a breakdown of the 45 dots? Because if we have 2 black, then we have 43 among the green and red.

But the rule for green and red is 1 green for every 2 red. I don't think you can break 43 that way.

For example, if you have 28 red, then you have 14 green. Sum=42

If you have 30red, then you have 15 green. Sum=45

"D"....total has to be a multiple of 5, only 45 is a multiple....as the ratio of dots are 2:1:2....i.e. 2/5 and 1/5 and 2/5...as no of dots is an integer, total has to be multiple of 5

but there are only 2 black dots, so how can we divide the remaining 43 2:1?
I first thought it would be a multiple of 5, but considering there are 2 black dots, i recalculated

No there are not only 2 black dots.....stem says "there are exactly 2 black dots and 1 green dots for every 2 red dot"...that doesn't mean that there r only 2 black dots...I think guess misread the ques. :-D

D - 45. The answer should be a multiple of 5 since for every 2 red dots, you have 2 black dots and 1 green dot

D - 45.
It has to be multiple of 5.
I guess this is one of the simple question they put in between the tough ones.

D too
multiple of 5
anyway, the numbers are not too high so normally you can even double check in this kind of question
18R-> 18B + 9G = 45 total
