Hope this is the right section to ask. Was wondering if there is a section of questions that deals with "in terms of x" questions. Im having difficulty with these and would be great to have some more practice.

Hope this is the right section to ask. Was wondering if there is a section of questions that deals with "in terms of x" questions. Im having difficulty with these and would be great to have some more practice.

I'm happy to help. :-)

From the way you are framing this question, I see that you need a great deal of help with algebra and/or word problems. Those are a huge topics. Here is an introductory article about GMAT math:

If you search through that blog, you fill find several more articles on GMAT Quant, some of which you may well find more relevant to your question.

What I will say is: all of math happens in the details. If you ask about a gigantic category and say "help me", there's not much we experts can say, but if you post individual GMAT problems with your individual questions, then we can give you valuable feedback specific to your needs. Post each new question in its own thread (make sure it hasn't be posted already by searching for it), ask your question, and then feel free to solicit my advice in a private message through GC. Even if your question is "I don't even know how to start", with a specific question I can point to individual things about the problem you can use to get going. That would be the best way to get the help you need.

Does all this make sense?

Great, thanks Mike! Looks like I need to work more on my Algebra skills. I'll post some questions i'm having troubles with, if they aren't already posted!
