Hey guys, I recently discovered GMATClub, and have to say it's already become a great resource as a prep for D-day. I have a question about Prep Strategy. Before the question, here are a few details regarding my prep so far
Started studying Feb 15th
Planning on taking the test in May and July
Start MGMAT classes on March 9th
Scored a 540 (Q37 V32)on a Cold Practice CAT thru MGMAT
I am using the MGMAT books to prepare. And so far I have gone through the FDP's book and the Number Properties book (and have completed the OG and QR questions for those sections). Although I can feel some definite improvement, I feel like I need to spend some more time fine-tuning my skills on the above topics using alternate sources and more practice problems.
My first question is -
Should I continue to spend more time on FDP's and Number properties until I am comfortable with my prep (which would probably mean another week)
OR
Go on and finish the rest of the subjects and then come back to fine-tune skills across the board on all subjects.
My second question is -
What is the best approach to take with MGMAT classes ? Is there a certain method/approach that allows one to learn the maximum amount ? I guess I'm wondering how I can make the most of every MGMAT session, since there are only 9 of them.

Hope you are well. Good job being proactive with your GMAT studying! You seem to be doing all of the right things. Do you have an error log? If not, I would start one. Be revisiting/resolving questions that you've gotten wrong or found challenging. This way you can learn new things while strengthening the concepts that you have already learned. So you don't really have to "move on" but put those topics in the "review" stage.
Class will most likely be a bit broad so for each class topic bring specific questions that you want answered. The benefit of having an instructor is that he/she can explain things to you so make use of that.

HerrGau - Thanks for reply. Luckily, I discovered Errorlogs thru Gmatclub before I started my prep, so i've maintained one throughout. And that's a great point, I'll be sure to review questions on my errorlog.
