I received advice to use GMATclub Quant book and quant questions on this site.
I reviewed the book and made many exercises.
Today I passed quant gmat club test and was very disappointed. I even failed to answer correctly some 500 questions.
I don't know how to improve my quant part because I don't see any progress. I think that some of my fundamentals of quant part became weaker than before.
Guys, I asked you for help and advice how to reach best results in quant part (purpose 50; but understand that first of all shoud reach 45 - 48).
Put me on the right track. My exam in two months and I think my preparation isn't correct.
Best wishes, Nikolay

For anyone starting gmat prep, the first step should be to get to 600-700 level. This would mean that you should have your basics clear, and you should be able to solve roughly 60% of 37 questions.
To achieve this, the pre-requisite is to have good basics. I would highly recommend that you study the Manhattan quant books for basics and do all the excercises at the end of each chapter. Follow this with a thorough study of the OG. This will definately move your score to 47-49 level.
Then you should read the advanced Manhattan book and do gmatclub tests. This will help you get 50-51.
Then, did I use the GMATClub Math Book also too soon? Meanwhile, many questions, posted on the Gmatclub Math forum seem hard (for peope who have a solid math background), don't they?
Speaking about OG what a book can you advise (OG12 or OG13)? (I finished quant OG 2d edition a month ago; in comparison with gmatclub questions and tests this book isn't very hard).
Kind regards, Nikolay
