I am as much older than you today as you are older than your friend. If, ten years earlier, you were 5 years older than your friend was, how much older than you am I today?

It is a simple 5 due to age gap..but to solve by equation

he = I + x

I = f + x.........(1)

10 years ago

I - 10 = f-10+5 so I = f + 5.........(2)

from 1 and 2, x = 5
