Well, it's getting down to the wire.

I've done thousands of problems, practice tests, review sessions, study sessions, and have tried to cram as much knowledge into my head as possible.

Today, I spent some time reviewing my error logs and looking for recent patterns. I noticed that I'm still getting geometry questions disproportionately wrong on practice exams, specifically those dealing with properties of triangles.

Does anyone have a good review set of questions or any helpful hints? I know the basics but for some reason I keep messing up these problems.

My suggestion would be make sure you know the basics - triangle properties. With one week left for the test, there isnt much time to learn and solve more. Tip - Day of the test, write the properties down on the scratch paper. This will give you confidence when solving a problem (that you at least have all the helpful tips by your side). Just a mental thing that works for me!

It may be a good idea to start a thread for all properties of a triangle.

Equilateral: Sides equal, Each angle 60
Right Triangles: Pythagorean rule, 3-4-5, 5-12-13 triangles, 30-60-90 (1:sqrt3:2), 45-45-90 (1:1:Sqrt2)
Isosceles: 2 sides equal,angles opp. the sides equal.
Misc. Property: Angle opposite largest side is also largest
Misc. Property: Sum of two sides > third side

Its always helpful to know similarity & congruence in triangles.

When I took the GMAT a month or so ago (Quant 48), I got few geometry problems. More than being difficult, the problems required application of common sense, which can be quite difficult under stress.

I am sure you will do well! Just keep focused and calm.

As suggested by Vikramm, basics are all you need!

and don't foget about rhombus (that's where i somehow make mistakes :( ) the new formula i learned from this forum is, Area of rhombus= (d1*d2)/2, the other one which i knew from before is (sum of bases)(height)/2
also remember all four sides equal of a quadrilateral doesn't always mean a square.

i don't have any written materials on geometry.. i wish i could help u more.
