Hi Everyone,
I am facing problems solving questions on inequalities and absolute value. Understanding the topics separately is easy. However, solving a question when both the concepts are combined is confusing. Mostly, GMAT has questions which tests both the concepts together. Does anyone have any inputs/techniques which can help me solve such questions? I have an understanding of few of the concepts which are commonly used, but those tricks/concepts are not applicable on all types of questions.
If anyone has an understanding of 'types' of questions related to Mod and Inequalities and possible ways to solve these questions, it would be really helpful.

Most of the questions that you're describing are best solved with a mix of basic 'math' and TESTing VALUES. Rather than try to deal with this subject in the 'abstract' though, do you have any specific Quant prompts that have given you trouble? By posting those questions in the appropriate Forums, you'll likely receive many of the insights that you're looking for.
