I am a Engineer by profession and currently i have a working experience of 1 year. I am currently preparing for GMAT and planned to take the test on 6th January 2016. If i got admission, my classes will start from August'16 which makes my experience 2 years till then. I have following questions bugging my mind, if you please guide me and counsel me.
1) Should i go for GMAT and apply for MBA if i have <2 years of experience? 2) Currently, i am working much on GMAT Quant. I have started my preparation from Nov 1st, and planned to give 1 month to Quant and 1 month to Verbal. I am going through a lot, as working plus studying for GMAT is quite tough, although i manage to do so. Problem is i know about the concepts and formulas, but failed to apply them to questions. How can i brush this? 3) If i take my GMAT and got a good score, i will have then less than 3 weeks to submit my application to all the universities i intend to apply. Are three weeks sufficient?
I am quite confident and motivated that i'll manage to score 650+, but if anyone please answer my queries so that i feel confident on my decision as well. Looking forward to your replies. Thanks in advance to all!!

If you know which Schools you plan to apply to, then you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:
It sounds like your current plans require that you do a lot of specific work in a very short period of time, so you'll have to be really organized about everything (and you might end up having to change your plans).
1) As far as your GMAT studies are concerned, how have you been scoring on your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

As i am currently working on Quant only. So didn't go through a complete CAT, but i've done Quant Part only (Practice Session) few times, which comes out to be 70 to 80% accuracy.
It's important to take FULL-LENGTH CATs (including the Essay and IR sections) at regular intervals during your studies (1 CAT every 1-2 weeks). While you haven't studied for the Verbal section yet, you really should take a FULL CAT sometime soon, so that we can get a sense of your current strengths and weaknesses. That initial score will also provide a basis for comparison (and a way to track your progress going forward).
