First of all, big thank you to everyone who is contributing in this forum. I'll quickly get to my query.
I appeared for GMAT in 2015 and scored 50 in quant. However the overall score (680) was not satisfactory, so I am appearing for it again this september. I thought I was good to go in quant and did not bother much with the practice. So I gave gmat prep 1 last week and got 50 quant. However I appeared for veritas gmat practice tests and could manage a mere 45 and 46 in two consecutive tests. Are veritas quant gmat tests more difficult than others or is my preparation a little off?
I want to give as much to verbal as I can because that is a weaker part for me. So kindly suggest some strategy or question bank that I can follow to check this. Thank you.

Veritas practice tests are not harder than what you might expect to see on the actual test. If you scored a Q50 on the GMAT Prep test, you should see similar scores on Veritas Practice tests too. Review your mistakes to figure out the reason for the lower score. You should be able to pull up to 50 here too.
