Today the temperature is (0). It is predicted that tomorrow the temperature will be two times colder. What will the temperature be tomorrow?

Wouldn't it matter if we are using celsius or farenheit?

Does cold start at 0(freezing)? or 100(boiling) for celsius, or room temp? Or 32 or 212 for Farenheit? Or absolute zero?

Or am i confused and it does it not matter?

we are given no standard of comparison, so tommorrow should be 0C also.

we are given no standard of comparison, so tommorrow should be 0C also.

If today is 0C, and tomorrow it will be 2 times colder than today, then it should be lower than 0C. How much lower?

Btw, who on earth gives such a forecast?!!! :roll: . I doubt TV/ radio,etc..... forecasts give such a claim . Even the normal people should never say so ....if they do, their minds should base the temperature on a kind of scale.

Please, note that it is predicted that it will be 2 times not 2 degrees colder.

You get a miserable score on GMAT(it really happened to me when I encountered 80 liner RC on my 3rd question and my first bold face).
