I sat the GMAT yesterday and scored a q42. It was disappointing as it was my second time sitting the GMAT and I scored a q47 the first time. I think I am dealing with some GMAT burnout but one thing I wanted to request some tips on is how to specifically improve my problem solving skills.
I ordered an ESR for both tests and scored a 49 (1st time) and 50 (2nd time) for Data Sufficiency in both tests but my problem solving has been very low - 39 (1st time) and 36 2nd time). I seem to be falling into traps during PS as I am normally able to pick one of the answers through my working however it tends to be the wrong one...........
I feel that I am much more aware of traps during Data Sufficiency but I seem to fall into easy traps in Problem Solving. Do you guys have any tips you could share? On another note I solve most DS questions without hardly writing anything down but my problem solving responses tend to be much more longwinded.
Thank you so much in advance.
Nathan
