I think the answer should be 4 .

2^10 /10 =1024/10 ..there fore the remainder is 4

Yeah , as per what u do it is 4 , but aint this also right 2^10/2.5 = 2^9/5 = 512/5 , thus reminder is 2 .

What is the answer then?

well to put in simple terms say what's the reminder when 4 is divided by 10 now will u say 4 or will u say 2 ..

i believe the answer will be 4 because the question is when 4 divided by 10 and not when 2 divided by 5 .

Hence i stand by my answer 2^10/10 will leave reminder 4 .

ok when the question is specifically asked about reminder dont simpify the divisor .....

if u have 14 pieces to divide equally among 10 people ...(without breaking those pieces) how many will be left ..???

u will understand the logic ...

the oa is 4

i did it the way papi did it at first. but ipc brought up a good point.
