Help with quant (beginner)

Question

Greetings to all
I plan to appear for GMAT in 2 months and I've just started with my quant preparation.
Being an arts graduate, I find it relatively tougher than verbal. I am aiming for a decent score of 650. Could you guide me with the topics I should be focusing on in quant (considering my non-maths background) in terms of their importance?

I don't think you should focus on topics for GMAT. Get good at all of them because you never know what you'd get in the finals. You have to get first 15 questions right even if they are tough which means you need to get good at all Quant topics.

I'd highly recommend to get Manhattan GMAT Guides. Math guides very good theory explanations along with test taking strategies.

I'm a bit late with this, but I thought I'd offer some advice anyways! What Quant materials you start with, will depend on what level you're starting out at. In general, if you haven't taken a math class for many years and you're a bit rusty - or if you struggled with math in school or you're 'not a math person' - you're best off starting with something like Foundations of GMAT Math . That will give you the background you'll need in order to understand most easy to moderate official GMAT problems, which is a good point to start at.
