I'm having a bit of difficulty across question topics in PS when the answers are presented in terms of the variables instead of answers. For example, from Veritas:
Let p = the product of all the odd integers between 500 and 598, and let q = the product of all the odd integers between 500 and 602. In terms of q, what is the value of 1/p+1/q?
I don't need help with this particular question, but I would appreciate advice on the style, where I'm expressing x in terms of y or p in terms of q. Sometimes it's asking to express Molly's time in terms of Paul's time to complete a task. Sometimes it's asking for the exponent of A in terms of the exponent of B.
Can anyone help me with a link to a video covering this or a series of questions on GMATClub where I can really hammer away at the fundamentals? These questions take up too much of my time now when doing mocks and I'm seeing it impact my score.
Or if you have a strategy for how to think about this style of question, I would greatly appreciate the advice.
