Hi my friends, avigutman and my other quant gurus,


I struggled with simplifying 5^(2n+1)=(5^2n)*(5). What source would you recommend or what official guide problems should I look into to specifically hone my ability to simplify complex exponents/exponent expressions with variables?

I was also going through the exponent problems on GMATCLUB :)

Also, if you're struggling with basics of quantitative aptitude, would recommend you to check out "GMAT Foundations of Math" by Manhattan. I also believe the foundation course is available free of cost on Manhattan's website.

You can check out the mentioned course to brush up the fundamentals concepts in quant.

Also - GMAT Ninja has a complete quant series on his youtube channel, you can check that as well as an additional resource.

This just means that your conceptual understanding of exponent rules needs a boost. My guess is that you memorized the exponent rules without reflecting deeply on why they are what they are.
Unsurprisingly, woohoo921, the resource I would recommend is my book.
