Hi All,
I am having a really tough time solving DS questions as compared to PS questions.
My average accuracy on OG 2022 Medium difficulty DS questions is only about 55-60%
While my accuracy is about 85 - 90% on Medium difficulty PS questions from OG 2022.
How do i improve my accuracy on DS questions?
Kindly advise.

Hi nick4ever,
First and foremost thing is to analyse your error log. If you have not maintained an error, please start making one. Please make a detailed note on why you got the answer wrong and the measures that you need to take to avoid similar mistakes. Start solving DS questions one topic at a time. Try to rephrase the question and the statements as much as possible. Try untimed practice till your accuracy improves. Please go through the very basics of solving DS type questions.

Your situation is very common among people preparing for the GMAT. The truth of the matter is that EVERYONE struggles with Data Sufficiency (DS) questions at first. Keep in mind that this question type is unique to the GMAT, so it's totally foreign territory.
It just takes time for the concepts and strategies to become secondary, at which point you may come to find that DS questions are actually easier than Problem Solving questions.
I could start listing dozens of DS strategies (e.g., rephrasing the target question) and common mistakes (e.g., confusing the answer to sufficiency question with the answer to the target question), but it's easier to just direct you to our set of 16 (free) videos that cover everything you need to know to tackle DS questions: https://www.gmatprepnow.com/module/gmat-data-sufficiency
