Fig, thanks for following me around and correcting the silly errors I am making. It helps me to realize I need to be more conscious of my thought process and it keeps me from confusing the crap out of everyone else...

Using your comments, I went back and revised my previous post. Once again, thanks. :oops:

I'm the first to do mistake ;) :)

I would suggest u, if it's already the case, to create and keep your "silly" mistakes in an ErrorLog. :)... Once u record them in it, u would be able to draw pattern of silly mistake and then build up a methodology to avoid them :)

my approach would be -

Statement 1 gives the set of the even numbers. x = 2, 4, 6, 8 , 10 etc...
Insuff to tell whether x/y is an integer as we don't know values of y.

Statement 2 gives y = 1, 2 , 3, 5, 7 etc.... This is not the set of only prime numbers as 1 is also the element of the set.
Insuff to tell whether x/y is an integer as we don't know values of x.

Taken both of them together:

x/y = 10/5 => integer
x/y = 2/3 => non integer

Hence both of them taken together insuff.

Answer is 'E'
