A cylinder holds 10 liters of water. All of the water is poured into a horizontal cube, 50 cm on a side. What is the depth of the water? (1 liter equals 1000 cubic cm of water)

volume of cylinder: pi x r^2 x h = 10 liters = 10,000 cm^3
horizontal cube [w=h]: h x w x d = 50 x 50 x d = 10,000 cm^3
d = 10,000 / 2500 = 4 cm = d

Answer is A

Yes Straight 'A'.
Don't be confused by the cylinder. Concentrate on the volume of water as this decides the depth of water.
