Hi All

I need your help urgently. I am screwing up on a lot of |x| DS questions!! I get all sweaty whenever i see a || (mod Function) :shock:

Please let me know how to tackle such questions, what is the first thing that comes in your mind when you see a mod function....what is the approach you follow when tackling such questions....

But in any case... can others also share their exp...the first thing in their mind when they see mod!!

Just see lxl as positive if x>0
and see lxl as negative if x0
or 5-x>3, if x-5<0

Check the book by mangmat on absolute values. I guess that will solve all your issues.
