Hope you guys like the triangle, the best I could do, but here is the problem that under time pressure, for some of us, may lead to loss of precious GMAT points.
Triangle above is with a 90 angle. The length of the sides are x,y,z. What is the value of A, area of this triangle.
1)x=3
2)z=5

A =(1/2)xy and z^2 = x^2+y^2
(1) x= 3, A = 3/2y,
(2) z=5 x^2+y^2 = 25 4A^2 = x^2(25-x^2)
(1)&(2), x=3, y =4, z=5 A= 6

Hallo haleluijah 1234, think that you have assumed that it is a Pithagorean triplet , but it might be 3, 5 , sqrt34.I would go with E)
