Hi,

Just a thought ......

If both are lying, can we be sure that they will contradict?

So, is it better to mark 'None' for such a question always even if '.54' was one of the options?

This is almost like a CR question. :btw can you show an instance when both contradict while they are lying? I don't think both can contradict AND lie on the same question. Both CAN give diff. answers in their lies but not really contradict...

If they give diff. answers, ain't they contradicting each other...ofcourse they are contradicting the right answer, but do we assume that we know the correct answer? :)

In that case '.54' is correct.

Contradicting in this case means "that they are contradicting each other". I assumed that it is given that we knew the right answer in order for us to know in the first place whether they lied or told the truth
