Chances of A saying the truth is 70% and B saying the truth is 40%. Replying to a question what are the chances that they will contradict.

Probability that they contradict is if A says truth and B lied and vice-versa
.7*.6 + .4*.3 = .54
E is answer

can you show an instance when both contradict while they are lying? I don't think both can contradict AND lie on the same question. Both CAN give diff. answers in their lies but not really contradict...
