jeez..what a messy question..

here is a short cut for doing this..

i look for testing numbers..i hope that (a) it is..givin that its 16.70..so makes it easier for me to minus .70 and do 3/2*16 -1 i.e cuban=$23..then arabian would be 3/2*24=36-0.5 roughly=35.5

so lets see

arabian=35.5 cuban=23 french=16.70 lets add em up

roughly adds ~74..so then french must have been (a)..

now i must admit..if the answer choices were all very close together..i would be squarely screwed! gladly that was'nt the case
