a) 15
b) 24
c) 25

Look for X
(15/100)*270 * X = 1000
X = (1000 * 100) / (15*270)
= 2000 / (9*9)
so, 2000/9 = 222.2
222.2/9 = 24.something

25 is the answer

15% of 270 = 40.5

since 25*40 = 1000, lets try 24 just incase that extra $0.50 makes a difference
24*40.5 = 972..so it must be 25

yes..i get 25 as well..

15/100*270=40.5*x=1000
x=1000/40=25
