Hi ritula,

please don't put the answer together with the questions. You will find more people respond to the question if the spoiler isn't given and not giving the answer too early also promtoes differnt debates and multiple ways to solve the problem will emerge.

p.s i am getting 4:1 to this. for 2d shapes of the same proportions, doubling the proportion of an identicle dimension will increase the area 4 times

Yes, I completely agree.
We should let it be an open debate.
And when you dont put the answers along with the question,you will notice you get better ideas and tips on solving them.
I guess the same goes for all of us.
